At the end of March 2012 took place the Festival of Chinese Culture at Volgograd State Social and Pedagogic University, at Confucius Center. The Festival Programme “Spring of friendship between Russia and China” was organized by the State Government Institution of Volgograd Region “Agency of Tourism Development” in cooperation with Confucius Center founded two years ago.

The goal of the Festival was to meet Russian and foreign students with traditional culture of China. Among the guests were Malaysian students of Volgograd State Medical University too.

The works submitted for competition, the performance of different dancing and singing troupes, all this promoted friendship between the students, Faculty members.

According to the students the Festival Programme interested everybody: the dance with fans, Chinese national musical instruments, demonstration of several elements of Wushu.
