Тhe 12th Volga Region-wide Conference in Obstetrics and Gynaecology “The Ways for Caring Women’s Reproductive Health”

On June 30- July 1, 2008 the Volgograd State Medical University (VolSMU) will host the 12th Volga Region-wide Conference in Obstetrics and Gynaecology “The Ways for Caring Women’s Reproductive Health”. This Conference is timed to the 70th - birthday of the Department for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, VolSMU.

The aim of this conference is to make obstetrics-gynaecologists, postgraduate students, academic obstetrics and gynecology teachers familiar with the innovative concepts in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Based on current scientific information, participants will be enabled to discuss the problems of arrangement specialised obstetric and gynaecological service, practical application of up-to-date methods for diagnosis, prevention and treatment for diseases of reproductive system and etc.

Within the conference the participants will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the up-to-date medical equipment and medicines, which can be used in obstetric institutions.

The conference will be run under the Auspices of Volgograd State Medical University and the Volgograd Region Association of Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
